Post 5: My future in Sociology... or not?
The fact that I'm studying sociology, makes me feel like my future job is in that way. But since I was in high school I wanted to be a teacher. My teachers were an inspiration for me, all the knowledge and the experience they had and their vocation, for me was admirable. Anyway, sociology won that place. Until now, I wish to become a school teacher I think, someday because I like the profession, but the system education is very disrespectful with the teachers. That's the only impediment, the teachers that I've met, not all of them but a lot from my school, say that public education is very sacrificed, in terms of time and money. At the moment, sociology is my route, and I wish I could keep studying and working on sociology, especially Sociology of Education. Maybe from that place, I could help to improve public education, with some investigations at least, and get close to the school.
